Ellipsis Enamel Brooch

One continuous line drawn into an ellipse, with colour held inside the fold.

Cast in brass from a hand-sculpted model and plated in Italy in Gold (three microns of 18k gold), Silver (palladium) or Obsidian (black ruthenium). Qilin Blood Purple enamel runs along the inner face of the fold, applied by hand and polished level with the metal.

Wear it on a jacket, at the knot of a scarf, or on the band of a hat.
