Ellipsis Chain Necklace

A chain of interlocked, twisted links, with colour at every fifth turn.

The links are cast in brass, joined by hand in Italy and plated in Gold (three microns of 18k gold), Silver (palladium) or Obsidian (black ruthenium). Every fifth link carries hand-applied Qilin Blood Purple enamel, so the colour appears and disappears as the chain moves.
