Haute Broderie Medallion Brooch

A round medallion of embroidery, framed in brass like a miniature.

Hand-cast brass, plated in Gold (three microns of 18k gold), Silver (palladium) or Obsidian (black ruthenium), frames a disc embroidered by hand in France with serpentine motifs and beads; each medallion is signed on the reverse. Thread colours follow the metal.

Wear it at the collar, on a hat band, or pinned to a bag strap, where it is seen up close.
