Serpentine Vase, Small

The Serpentine form at the scale of a table.

Hand-shaped porcelain, impressed with silver-gilded fabric textures and fired twice. It is glazed inside to hold water and gilded by hand along the outer relief, so the texture catches light like a fold of silk.

Place two together on a dining table, in two shades, with short stems cut just above the rim.
